I graduated from the RVC in 2000 and have worked in Southern Hertfordshire since then. My special interests are in medicine and especially feline medicine – cats are a favourite (the ginger moggy who appears on these pages owns me)! I have high hopes for this surgery and will endeavour to provide my clients and their owners with a high standard of care. Outside of work, I love to travel – this picture is taken in Chicago in 2007 but with opening this practice I think jaunts will be limited to this country. I also enjoy archery, photography and reading a good book.

Tracey Read RVN DipAVN(Surg) Part time Nurse

Tracey has been qualified for many years and has a huge amount of experience both as a practice manager and as a nurse. She has specific interests in Anaesthesia and Radiology. She is kept busy outside of work by her 2 daughters and an exuberant chocolate Labrador.

Crystal Carr RVN

Crystal comes to us via Devon and North London. She has an interest in medical nursing and is hoping to persue further qualifications in this and also in behaviour and nutrition. Crystal will be running our Weight and Dental Clinics and assisting on occasion with the Puppy Parties.  When not here she enjoys walking with her Jack Russell Terrier and is also a keen amateur gardener.

Nikki Roberts RVN Part Time Nurse

Nikki is making a welcome return to practice after a short time out to have her 2 daughters. A long time veterinary nurse,  Nikki also has an interest in behaviour, and you may see her in any of the nursing clinics. As well as her 2 daughters, she is owned by one dog and multiple cats!
